David Edward Davies (born January 6, 1975, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Gettysburg, PA. A painter, primarily with oil and or acrylic on canvas. While also carving wooden figures, and frames for his paintings. While he has yet to exhibit his work publicly, he is in development for his first series titled Unusually Fast Owls, which explores themes close to heart relating to the phenomenon of extraterrestrial interaction with human consciousness, and culture, to include Sasquatch, which finds his way into nearly all of his work. David says it is the perfect entrance down the rabbit hole that he is exploring.
Davies work is intended more for those already intrigued by these concepts, his work serves as a nod of recognition, resonating with viewers who share a fascination with the unknown. It’s not too serious, David’s art has a bit of a folk-art aesthetic, and his themes can be fairly lighthearted and fun like his aliens in bars and A series of paintings depicting a day Bigfoot and Van Gogh hung out together.
At this stage in his career, David Edward Davies remains largely unknown, with his work existing outside the traditional gallery scene.
